Our
Work
The nursery class within Comrie Primary School provides care and
education for pre-school children, both 3 and 4 year olds. Places are
currently allocated on 5 half day sessions. The morning session begins
at 9am and closes at 11.30am, and the afternoon session begins at
12.30pm and closes at 3pm.
The curriculum framework is
influenced by a child-centred
approach. Children are encouraged to
learn at their own pace, and by
focusing on their own interests.
Learning will be meaningful and
valuable. Play is seen as an important
vehicle for learning. Learning
opportunities will be provided in a
variety of contexts to meet individual
needs.
We only put snack in our
mouth, nothing else!
We are kind to each other.
We listen to other people.
We speak in a nice talking voice.
We have kind hands and feet.
We walk very carefully and
watch where we are going.
