Our School Days |
At Comrie Primary School, our day starts at 9.00am and finishes at 3.00pm. For safety and security, pupils are required to remain in the playground until the bell rings at 9.00am and after lunch at 1.15pm, respectively (other than for necessary access to the toilets). On wet mornings a bell will be rung at 8.50am and pupils can enter the main building at that time, accessing the central library area. |
At break times pupils enjoy using the fixed play equipment and also have access to a variety of portable playground equipment such as skipping ropes, bats and balls, etc. The field behind the school has goalposts and is available for those children who wish to play football. During wet playtimes pupils remain in their classrooms and are supervised by support staff who are aided by Primary 7 monitors. Wet playtime activities and games are available in each classroom. |

School lunches are served in the dining centre and classes have a weekly rota for who goes first. Most pupils with pack lunches also eat in the dining centre (although P7 have a separate, designated room in which to eat their packed lunches). P6 (Thursdays) and P7 (Thursdays & Fridays) children are allowed to visit the village shops, with parental permission. |
Assemblies |
Held on Mondays & Fridays and led by a Headteacher, our school Chaplain, visitors or the pupils. |
